Singer Toni Braxton made a rare appearance back on stage as a performer at the 2016 BET Honors held at the Warner Theater in Washington, DC. She honored her mentor L.A. Reid of Epic Records (and former judge of The X Factor USA).
Braxton was backed up by her sisters including Tamar Braxton from Dancing with the Stars.
It was nice to see Toni perform again, though the audience reaction was tepid. They didn’t even give her a standing O. Don’t they realize that she’s gone through some medical issues and it’s a feat in itself to be performing again?
